tina and joe say i do

Well, Dan posted these photos before I logged in to write the text, so his name is on the entry but I (Brooke) am writing about the wedding. He wanted me to be sure to let you know this because he thinks I am long winded and write very "girlie"! :) ...On Saturday we headed down to Franklin, Indiana for Tina and Joe's wedding. This couple is so sweet & very happy together. Dan did their engagement photos just a couple weeks ago so we knew they would be a lot of fun at the wedding! When Tina pulled out her shoes, navy blue with silver jewels, I knew that her dress was not going to be simple or just white, and I was right! It was a fabulous dress with navy blue trim that cascaded down her back. Their ceremony was outside in a beautiful courtyard area near the campus of Franklin College. They could not have picked better weather for the occasion! It was beautiful! The reception followed with a lot of laughter & cheer. We were treated to some good down home cookin' - which is ALWAYS something to celebrate during a hard day's work! The meal (pulled pork, fried chicken, potatoes, etc) was made complete by an actual pig (that's right, a friendly reminder of where the pulled pork for the meal came from) sitting on the buffet table as decor!!!!! It was hilarious to see the faces of guests as they walked by! Joe wore his cowboy hat for the introduction, sat near his Dale Earnhardt Jr Groom's cake (as well as his bride), and toasted to his mother's poem about the life thus far of Tina and Joe (and it was a HILARIOUS poem, very well written, funny, & cute!) Each couple we meet is so unique and different than the next...it just never ever gets old. Our job is different everyday & we LOVE it. One thing that we feel so lucky about though, is that even though each of our couples is different than each other, we always seem to bond with each couple & always leave feeling as if we've been friends for a long time. You hear stories about "bridezillas", but honestly.....they never seem to find us. We are lucky I guess. :) CONGRATULATIONS, Tina and Joe! Enjoy your honeymoon in Hawaii!!!!!!

Yep. The one and only wedding/reception I have ever sang and danced at without the help of alcohol.

So much fun!
