ellabeth's halloween session and short shoot
Last November we met Ellabeth's mom and dad to be at Emily and Brad's wedding. We heard about the upcoming arrival of "Miss Ellabeth" from her very proud grandma and were so excited when we heard she was going to be making a trip to Indianapolis from Boston. We have a photo session scheduled with them in February but we couldn't wait that long to get a few shots of Ellabeth for our Halloween Session and our new Short Shoot. Her cuteness did not disappoint! Here are a few of shots from the two shoots. We can't wait to see all of you in February!

emily and jared are seniors
On Sunday afternoon we had twins, Emily and Jared, stop by for their senior photo session. These are two seniors that are very active in their school! Both are involved in sports, honor roll, musicals, and the list goes on and on. They were a lot of fun and so laid back. It's not often you get to do TWIN seniors, which made the shoot pretty special and unique. They are very close so wanted to make sure to get some photos together along with their individual photos. They were just so relaxed all day and really got along so well. We started in the studio and then finished at the IMA. It was the most beautiful day, so we had to fight our way through the crowds of other photographers (okay, so there weren't crowds but there were a lot of photographers...it was hilarious!) It was worth it though; there are so many good spots to shoot in that area. Thank you, Emily and Jared, for coming in to spend some time with us! We enjoyed it!
sarah, brian, and eli
Sarah and I became the best of friends while both working for a Midwest restaurant chain. Although she had moved from Bloomington to Nashville and we both left the company, we have remained really close friends. She and her family recently moved back to Indiana...to Pendleton specifically...about 10 minutes (or less) from our house!!!!! I was thrilled when she gave me the news they were coming back! Soooo...she and Brian have a son who just turned two & they called us for a photo session. We decided that the best place to do them would be at their house for two reasons. One, because Eli is two, and ALL two year olds need to be in a comfortable environment to be cooperative. :) And mostly, because they have an AMAZING home in Pendleton that we absolutely love! Their home is one of those super cool really old homes, meaning hard wood floors, crown molding, details, details, and more details.....but even better....it's really a NEW home just built to look like the historical home that used to sit in the same spot. :) How cool is that?!?!
I could go on and on about how much I love this family and how much fun we had at the shoot. Sarah told me that she would be thrilled if we could just get ONE photo of Eli and ONE of the three of them. I think they are going to have a really hard time picking photos. They turned out so cute!!! I can't wait to put the storybook together! Sarah, Brian, and Eli, thank you so much for inviting us to do the session! We can't wait to see you again!!!

claire is a senior
On Saturday Claire came to our studio for her senior photos. She is a senior at North Central & she is the cutest girl! After a few studio shots, we went down the street to a beautiful country club/golf course that I didn't even know existed until we planned the session! Claire plays tennis for North Central and has spent many hours on the courts at Woodstock Club, so she thought it would be the perfect place for her photos, and it was! It was a beautiful fall day and we spent time together inside the club and outside on the beautiful grounds. I've only played golf about three times in my life --- needless to say I am no good at it --- but trucking around this golf course under the multi-colored leaves and through the lush grass made me want to stay out the rest of the afternoon and drive some golf balls! We didn't though; all of us were tired and hungry after the shoot, so we called it a day. :) We are excited to show you a glimpse of what we caught of this sweet & gorgeous high school senior!

chaille family
I mean no offense to my wonderful family by saying that I want the Chailles to adopt me! :) (You can belong to multiple families, right?) This family was SO MUCH FUN that I will not be able to come up with the words for this blog. I was laughing the whole shoot. The five siblings got together on Sunday and did this photo shoot as a 30 year wedding anniversary present for their parents. Two spouses and a baby in addition made up the 10 people & we had crazy fun.
When we scheduled the shoot, Dan and I were originally a little worried that we would just be flat out worn out from the two weddings prior, but the Chailles' energy was contagious and we could have spent the entire day with them and not remembered how tired we should have been once!!!!
Shown here are a few of the photos of climbing in trees, playing IU vs. PU tackle football (or maybe just playing TACKLE), and running around at the IMA. Two of the Chailles are IU grads, six are Purdue students/grads, which (excluding the baby) means there is one left in high school that is yet to be determined! It was the family's idea to play tug of war with him...it was hilarious!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for inviting us to spend time capturing your family. We absolutely loved our time spent with you!!!
