Logan and Amanda... AMAZING couple, BEAUTIFUL wedding, FUN day, WONDERFUL people!!! Although it started of a little cold, I dare to say that Logan and Amanda snagged the last fall day full of beautiful leaves and colors! By the time the ceremony ended, the sky was full of sunshine and we enjoyed walking around the campus at Butler (where Logan graduated) taking photos! Logan and Amanda were so sweet, so caring, and welcomed us into their lives like we'd been long-time friends! We loved everything about this couple and this wedding! We loved them and their families, we loved the tribute to the military, we loved the hilarious fraternity traditions, and the day went by so fast we were sad to pack up at the end of the night! Logan and Amanda, thank you so much for sharing your wedding day with us!!! Congratulations!!!

I received a call from Marie, that her son, Sean, won a gift certificate at a silent auction and wanted to try to set up a photo shoot of their family before their other son, Stephen, a Marine, went to Afghanistan. I was honored that 1. Sean bid on our certificate, and 2. to be given the chance to photograph this amazing family at such a unique time in their lives! Stephen and Jen were actually married the day before our session but they luckily weren't too "photoed out" so I was able to get some great shots of the two of them. I really enjoyed spending time with the whole family! Thank you all so much for spending some time with me! We are extremely thankful and humbled by Stephen's bravery and wish him safe travels.

julie and ian are engaged

I was so excited when Julie called and asked me about photographing her wedding. She is very sweet and beautiful and just happens to be marrying one of my fraternity brothers from Purdue. I haven't seen Ian since I left Purdue so it has been great to catch up with him and all he's doing. I made them meet me out in the rain last week for their engagement session. It rained a little more than I was expecting, but luckily, it stopped enough for us to sneak out from the covered bridge to capture some of the fall colors! It was great hanging out with you guys! madelyn is 1 year old

Little Madelyn is one! We've known her since she was 1 week old and it is amazing to look back at those images at how small she was. She has turned out to be a beautiful little girl and so sweet! Katie and Ellie's session was cut a little short last month due to some tired little ladies so we thought we'd try for just a couple more shots on another day. I'm so happy we did! tim and maggie say i do

Tim and Maggie were married on the beautiful grounds of the IMA & we were so honored to share in their day! Before Maggie went out to meet Tim for the first time, she and her girls were talking about how you always remember one thing about someone's wedding, and that what everyone would remember about theirs is how cold it was. Well, it was a little chilly, but I disagree that the cold weather in itself is what people will remember. My bet is on the blankets that were passed to guests as they entered or the hot coco that was served during the ceremony... the memorable blessing Maggie's brother made when he married them... or the smile on her dad's face when he announced them as husband and wife for the first time... the special touches Maggie's mom added through the entire day... Tim's dad's moving toast that left not a dry eye in the place... the laughter coming out of the photo booth... or most of all, the way that Tim and Maggie looked at each other during their first dance. We shared many beautiful memories on this day, and we are so thankful we were a part of it! Tim and Maggie, thank you so much for inviting us to share in your wedding day! Enjoy your sneak peek!!! 

the trudeau family

Dan was recently in Arizona and he had the opportunity to photograph some of our dearest friends in the world!!!! HOW JEALOUS AM I that he was there, enjoyed the sunshine, (did some work), and stayed with and was catered to by this adorable family of 4! JoAnn and I worked together years ago in marketing and sales. Since then she moved 1756 miles from us (that is a 26 hour car drive) to the most beautiful, energetic, magical place - AZ! We've not only remained friends, but we've actually even become much, much closer since her move and I feel so blessed and honored to have her in my life! She honestly is one of the most amazing women I know. I just LOVE her and her family so so so much! JoAnn, her husband Kevin, son Tommy, and mom Maryfrances, wandered through the desert with Dan so that he could play with new scenery, good friends, and his camera! What troopers! :) (I think they had fun too!) :)

It is a dream and goal of Dan and mine to one day own our own property in Arizona. Until then, we can enjoy short-lived visits and wonderful vacations with our amazing friends.... next one is in March, and me and the girls get to go on that one!!!! Hooray!!!! We can't wait to all see you in 5 months! We love you sooooo much!!!!!

erin is 28 weeks pregnant

We had the honor of photographing Erin and Tom's wedding in 2006, so we were delighted to hear this adorable couple was expecting their first baby --- Little Avery! Tom and Erin are seriously the sweetest, cutest couple, and this baby boy is going to be the luckiest little guy on earth to have them as his parents! Erin is gorgeous and it was so fun to capture her pregnancy! She has the tiniest little figure with a cute baby bump! We are SO EXCITED to meet Avery!!! Erin and Tom, thank you for sharing your growing family with us! We cannot wait to capture Avery's first year and beyond!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

jack and sandra say i do

Jack and Sandra, and their families, have to be the NICEST people we've ever met!!!! I mean, it's their WEDDING DAY----and on the very first time Jack inquired about using our services (months and months ago), I mentioned that his wedding date was on my birthday. Well, not only did he remember, but so did everyone that was there! The entire family was getting ready to walk down the aisle and they all started singing happy birthday to me in unison ---- what?!?!?! I mean, I cannot explain how sweet and caring and loving and wonderful everyone was!!!! The wedding was small and intimate, full of people that truly LOVE Jack and Sandra and the day was full of happy tears!!! The wedding was outside on a beautiful day that followed a week of rain. OH --- and did I mention how FUN they were too?! Just take a look at their shoes. Explains it all. Love it!!! bob and holly say i do

Bob and Holly --- I could write a book about how much we loved sharing in their wedding day! Bob and Holly are so sweet, so fun, so in love, so genuine, so caring, and just amazing people separate and together!!!! There are some weddings that are just special. They make you feel like you're a part of the family even if they've only known you a short time. We truly left the wedding feeling as if we'd known Bob and Holly for years. They have amazing families and friends, and every part of the wedding day was fun, exciting, happy, and memorable. luke is 9 months old

Little Luke is not so little any more! He's now 9 months old and cuter than ever! He's always smiling, always happy and is as laid back as his parents! We always love having you guys in! Can't wait until the 1 year session! Enjoy your sneak peek...

Mike and Dan have known each other since high school, were fraternity brothers, and the four of us became close friends after finding out we were pregnant with our first babies at the same time! Since then, Mike and Becky have become some of our greatest friends and we love them so much! Our girls (we have four of them now, combined) are great friends and we all love getting together, sharing stories, meals, lots of laughs, and lots of memories! keith and amanda say i do

Keith and Amanda were married last weekend and it was an absolute honor to photograph their wedding day! Keith and Amanda are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet, and they were smiling non-stop (mostly at each other) the entire day!!! The day was absolutely beautiful after a long week of rain and everything just seemed to go without any flaws at all!  It was additionally fun for us because one of the bridesmaids was a 2006 bride of ours, who is expecting her first baby with her hubby!!! So fun! Keith and Amanda, we just couldn’t be any happier that we were included in your wedding day and we are so honored we had the opportunity to share in the laughter, tears, and memories of your day. oliver is 3 weeks old

Jack, Sara, Elliott, and now little Oliver are some of our favorite people!!!!!!!!!! It all started with Sara's sister's wedding.... then little Elliott was born.... then Sara's other sister's senior photos.... and now we have a new addition to the family!!!!!!!!!!! Oliver was born just three weeks before these photos were taken, and he is just as precious as can be!!! Elliott has always been such a good boy, so it shouldn't have surprised me that he was so good with his baby brother! He is so gentle, and cooperative, and loving to his baby brother! I joke with Sara because I call her a superwoman---she has been out and about since delivery and doing so well!!!! Jack, Sara, Elliott, and Oliver, we always love seeing you and this occasion was especially special! Thank you for sharing your new little love with us! He's adorable!

katie and ellie are 4 months

Amy and I have been friends since high school. We went to Purdue together where she met Ben. Ben was on my dorm floor freshmen year so I take full responsibility for their successful relationship (even though I didn't really know Ben at that time and I don't think she met him until a couple of years later)! They are some of the sweetest people you could ever meet! Anyone who knew Amy growing up knew she would be a great mom so I guess that's why she was blessed with two right off the bat! Twins, Katie and Ellie are so cute and full of life!I really enjoyed spending some time with them and I'm so excited to watch them grow! Congratulations Amy and Ben! We're so happy for you!
