jorge and abbe say i do

On Saturday we photographed the wedding of Jorge and Abbe at the Eiteljorg Museum in downtown Indianapolis. Jorge and Abbe are the sweetest couple and they were soooo fun to be with! They made everyone involved in their wedding feel so special and and we truly felt as though we had been friends with them for years. My favorite part of the wedding (okay, one of my favorite parts) was the vows. Jorge is originally from Peru (his family, who still lives there, flew in for the wedding), so his native language is Spanish, which Abbe doesn't speak. However, as a special surprise, when it was time to speak the vows she had written him, she recited them all (and there were a lot) in fluent, beautiful Spanish. She had written them all out and secretly had them translated and then memorized them perfectly! It was really beautiful and Jorge was very touched to say the least. The entire day was filled with special moments like this and to capture the emotion and love between all of the friends and family at the wedding was wonderful.
