nate, stacey, sam, & max

The cutest family came down to the studio last weekend for a photo session. It was Stacey (mom), Nate (dad), 3-year old Sam and 6 month old Max. They were awesome! Stacey and Nate are seriously the best parents EVER! They set rules and boundaries for their children, followed through with their word, and are patient, compassionate, loving, caring, fun, and..what else can I say but, the kind of parent I want to always be to my child(ren)! It's no wonder Sam was so well-behaved! (Max was too of course, but he's not old enough to get into too much trouble yet!)

We had a blast! We started in the studio and then drove to a park close to their home, but not before picking up their 5 year old German Shephard, Trinity. :) At the park we played on the playground, kicked a soccer ball around, played with the best behaved dog in the world (no leash necessary), and then walked through a beautiful area of trees with colored leaves.

Stacey and Nate, thank you so much for bringing your beautiful family to spend a morning with us! We ended up with a huge amount of photos! Here are just a few...

samantha is 9 months old

(This is Brooke...) Awwww....our little Sammi is growing up so fast! She's almost 10 months old now so we decided it was time to take her 9 month photos. :) She is standing, is getting her third tooth, and just yesterday took her first steps...eight steps in a row to be exact. We realized how big she is getting during the shoot & especially reviewing the photos. How did that happen?!?!

We admit that we posted more than usual...these photos make us both tear up! Editing your own kiddo is SO MUCH HARDER than editing anyone else! (Storybook coming soon!) Being a mom is the best thing that has ever happened to me........................Saying I love her is an understatement!!!! ENJOY!!! :)

ellabeth's halloween session and short shoot

Last November we met Ellabeth's mom and dad to be at Emily and Brad's wedding. We heard about the upcoming arrival of "Miss Ellabeth" from her very proud grandma and were so excited when we heard she was going to be making a trip to Indianapolis from Boston. We have a photo session scheduled with them in February but we couldn't wait that long to get a few shots of Ellabeth for our Halloween Session and our new Short Shoot. Her cuteness did not disappoint! Here are a few of shots from the two shoots. We can't wait to see all of you in February!

emily and jared are seniors

On Sunday afternoon we had twins, Emily and Jared, stop by for their senior photo session. These are two seniors that are very active in their school! Both are involved in sports, honor roll, musicals, and the list goes on and on. They were a lot of fun and so laid back. It's not often you get to do TWIN seniors, which made the shoot pretty special and unique. They are very close so wanted to make sure to get some photos together along with their individual photos. They were just so relaxed all day and really got along so well. We started in the studio and then finished at the IMA. It was the most beautiful day, so we had to fight our way through the crowds of other photographers (okay, so there weren't crowds but there were a lot of photographers...it was hilarious!) It was worth it though; there are so many good spots to shoot in that area. Thank you, Emily and Jared, for coming in to spend some time with us! We enjoyed it!
